Meet the Owner & Formulator
My name is Toni Lynne, and I am the owner of Essentially Yours. As a lifelong resident of New York’s Hudson Valley, I’ve always felt a strong connection to nature and an appreciation for practical, health-conscious living. That perspective became the foundation of this business.
I earned an AAS in Radiologic Technology from Hudson Valley Community College in 1995 and spent ten years working in medical imaging, including X-ray, Mammography, MRI, and CT. That experience reinforced the importance of precision, safety standards, effective communication, and attention to detail — principles that continue to guide my business today.
In 2005, I began developing natural bath and body products for personal use after researching commonly used ingredients in commercial products and seeking less toxic alternatives. What began as careful study and small-scale experimentation gradually expanded to creating products for family and friends. In 2011, I formally established Essentially Yours as a business.
Today, Essentially Yours offers a growing collection of more than three dozen products, shaped in large part by conversations at markets and feedback from the community I serve. Many new additions begin as customer questions or special requests. When developing something new or customized, I take a careful, methodical approach to ensure each formula remains consistent, well-balanced, and aligned with my established standards.
Essentially Yours continues to operate as a woman-owned, small-batch business rooted in ingredient integrity, clear communication, and intentional formulation. Every product is prepared with attention and care, combining thoughtfully selected ingredients with practical, everyday usability.
